Tertiary Indonesian EFL Learners’ Learning Style in Reading Hypermedia Material

Technology, learning environment, and e-sources have shifted learners’ styles in academic reading courses. The study aimed to explore tertiary Indonesian EFL hypermedia material since it benefits teachers determining teaching approaches, assessments, tasks This answered the research questions about gender differences their material., Seventy-one first-grade learners were selected randomly as sample from 141 who enrolled Academic Reading course. four types of styles, concrete, analytical, communicative, authority-oriented, employed categories this study. Descriptive statistics t-tests applied for data analysis. revealed that concrete authority-oriented. Concrete authority-oriented highest, communicative style was second, analytical lowest. t-test result showed no significant difference between gender. successful implementation descriptive quantitative design instruments contribute expanding methodology digital era. can help understand styles. It also allows develop classroom activities, tasks, material, media. Specifically, use changes environment mode has changed courses, which lead a change teachers’ approaches.
